History
The Education
Scholarship Endowment of Yavapai County was launched in January 2001
with an initial gift of $100,000 by the Gardner Family Trust. 
Since its founding, the ESEYC has distributed more than $145,000 to college and university students who became teachers. And we have met our goal to increase the number and the amount of monies awarded. Applicants must:
A scholarship committee will review all applications. A maximum of eight finalists will be invited for a personal interview. 2001 - 2011 Winners of $1,500 - $2,000 each scholarships are listed below. Scholarship funds will be deposited with the college or university for the winners. Applicants contact: School counselor or the address below.

An additional $125,000 in individual donations has been received. A
number of scholarships are awarded annually to public school district
students in Yavapai County who wish to pursue teaching
degrees. The scholarships are intended for tuition and textbook
expenses at accredited colleges and universities offering education
programs. In addition, the Endowment will support programs intended
to promote the teaching profession and improve the quality of teaching
in Yavapai County.
